Sissi’s Success at National Swimming Championships

Sissy and her teammates at the China National Youth Championships

Congratulations to Harrow Hong Kong's Synchronised swimmer Sissi (Y8, Fry) who has been selected to represent China at the 9th Asia Age Group  Championships, following an impressive performance at the 2017 China National Youth Championships in August.

Sissi, who has trained in the sport for three and a half years under the guidance of her coach Ms Hu, represented the Shenzhen team in the national event, organised by the China General Administration of Sport, and was competing against ten provincial teams from across China.

The Shenzhen team placed first for the first time, with Sissi’s performances in the Duet, and Flexibility with ballet techniques contributing to their third places in each of those categories and towards the overall first place.

As an amateur athlete, Sissi was competing against professional athletes from other provinces and was the champion in her individual age group. We wish her luck in her preparation to compete on the World stage.
